The Plan: Ride from Trego to Spooner via the Wild Rivers Trail to hook up with Trail #25/Logging Trail. We did not go the entire suggested route of Trail #25/Logging trail, instead we turned around and headed back the way we came.
Trail Pass: The Wild River Trail did not require a trail pass, but the other areas went to that weekend did. We purchased our pass at the DNR Headquarters in Spooner. Fees vary based on whether you are a state resident or not and if you are buying a year pass or a 5 day pass. For more information of trail passes and the locations they can be purchased from check out the DNR website: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/permits/registrations
Parking: We parked the truck and trailer in the public parking lot in Trego Wisconsin, marked with the RED ARROW. For more information on parking and trail route check out the full trail map here: Wild River Trail Map

Trail Views Trego to Spooner: The Wild River Trail from Trego to Spooner was a fairly straight ride on an old train bed. The view were great and a good portion of it was bordered by old train cars.

Spooner Eats: We stopped for lunch and some drinks in Spooner. There were a lot of options. We landed on the Round Man Brewing Co. The food was great! Check out their website for more information: https://www.roundmanbrewing.com
From there we got back on the Wild River Trail to hook up to Trail #25/Logging Trail. There were a few cool bridges on this portion of the Wild River Trail. It was still part of the old train bed so the trail was still pretty straight, it also went through some residential areas where we needed to monitor the speed limit.

Trail #25/Logging Trail: This trail was a lot of fun. It has enough hills and turns to keep the ride interesting. The trail did get busier with trucks and machinery the closer we got to the end with all the logging going on. We turned around to go back when trail ended at the highway. We opted for more trail riding instead of taking the road to make the full loop.
